The Shetland Partnership has published its Annual Report for 2025/26, providing an overview of progress made during the year to improve outcomes for Shetland's communities.

The report brings together the latest information on the Partnership's outcome indicators, alongside case studies that demonstrate how organisations, communities and individuals have worked together to address local challenges and opportunities.

This year's report identifies positive developments in areas such as youth participation, community involvement and partnership working, while also highlighting the continuing impact of demographic change, the cost of living and climate change.

The report includes updates on delivery of the current Shetland Partnership Delivery Plan and the four improvement projects at the centre of this work: Person-Centred Shetland, Compassionate Shetland, Climate Conscious Shetland and EmPowering Shetland. It also provides an update on progress in delivering the Islands with Small Populations Locality Plan.

A range of case studies feature throughout the report, showcasing collaborative activity across Shetland, including volunteering initiatives, community-led projects, health and wellbeing programmes, environmental action and work to support individuals, families and communities.

The Annual Report also sets out the Partnership's statutory community planning responsibilities, reviews progress against key outcome indicators and outlines priorities for the year ahead as work begins on developing the next Shetland Partnership Plan.
