My Life in the Highlands and Islands

The views and experiences of individuals living, working and studying in communities across the Highlands and Islands were sought on a range of topics including: housing, jobs, schools, medical services, leisure facilities, even the location of the nearest takeaway.  You can read the report and the area profiles here.

Access to services and transport was looked at as well as perceptions of life in the region including housing challenges and the business landscape. Employment, entrepreneurship, skills and training; netzero; community optimism and participation and what communities need to thrive in the future were also areas considered.
