Community Justice Conference
Key Lessons and Feeding Back
Key Lessons

- The Community Planning and Development team were able to help manage the event on the day which was a great help to the Community Justice Officers, as there was a lot of elements to the day that needed to be attended to.
- Those in attendance gave positive feedback and felt they got what the needed from the engagement. They said they would be keen to attend similar engagement events in the future.
- All those presenting were encouraged to follow a specific template for their presentations so there was a similar profile and flow to the event. This worked well when the template was used.
- The hall was cold at times due to a draft from an exit. It was discovered through the event that there was a curtain which could be used to keep the draft out. It will be important for future meetings to be aware of how to control the temperature.
Feeding Back the Results
Feedback was gathered following the event and an event report written, which was sent out to everyone in attendance and included highlights from the event. Along with this feedback, there was also thank you messages sent to those who attended and those who presented. During the event, Chief Executive Karyn McCluskey also gave feedback to the speakers at the time of their presentations.
